Where we play touch rugby
Everything happens at Hough End Leisure Centre in south Manchester: one venue, one night, so there is never any confusion about where to go.
Our home
Hough End Leisure Centre
Big, flat, floodlit grass pitches on Princess Road, with a leisure centre attached, so there are proper changing rooms rather than a hedge and a carrier bag.

Getting there
However you are travelling
By car
Free parking on site, which is the main reason people from further out make it work on a weeknight. Come off Princess Parkway and you are a couple of minutes away.
By bus
Princess Road and Mauldeth Road West are both well served from the city centre and south Manchester. Give yourself a little longer in rush hour.
On foot or by bike
If you live in Chorlton, Withington, Whalley Range or Didsbury it is a short ride. There is space to leave a bike while you play.
When you arrive
Head for the playing fields behind the centre and look for the group in bibs with a bag of balls. If you cannot spot us, message the WhatsApp number and someone will come and find you.
Manchester
Who comes from where
Hough End sits in the middle of south Manchester, which is why the squad ends up being such a mix of postcodes.
Most weeks there are players in from Chorlton, Withington, Didsbury, Whalley Range, Fallowfield, Levenshulme and the city centre, plus a steady contingent from Hulme, City centre, Sale, Stretford.
Stockport & the borders
Coming across from Stockport
We do not have a Stockport pitch of our own yet, but plenty of the squad live on that side.
Heaton Chapel, Heaton Moor, Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Burnage, Reddish, Bramhall are all well represented on a Monday. If you are coming from that direction and would rather not drive alone, say so when you message us and we will point you at someone making the same trip.
Ask about lifts from StockportReady to give touch rugby a try?
Message us, tell us you fancy a go, and turn up on Monday. First session is free and you will not be the only new face there.
